Dear Readers,
Feeling I needed a little vitamin boost tonight I adapted the Sexy Goddess Smoothie from Crazy Sexy Kitchen, the cookbook by Crazy Sexy Cancer author and health nut Kris Carr. I didn't have everything on hand, so I made a few alterations to the recipe. Fortunately, it turned out so well I think I'll keep making it as I did.
Little One seemed very keen on what I was drinking, so I shared some with him. Low and behold he loved it! And I love that I've found a quick and easy way to get lots of healthy goodness into Muffin's diet. So it is that as we continue down our path towards better health, little Muffin is being dragged along with us. Fortunately, Muffin isn't being carted along kicking and screaming.
Give it a spin in a Vita-Mix (truthfully, this recipe alone made me so happy I got that overpriced power blender!) and you'll love it too.
Muffin's Fav Green Smoothie
One cup of nut milk
One banana
One cup of blueberries
One Granny Smith apple
Two fistfuls of kale
3/4 cups of purified water
Dash of cinnamon
Blend all in a high-speed blender until smooth. And enjoy!
